About Us

Ark Wood Works is owned and operated by Kashyap Khetani, the chief wood worker and the brain behind the art. Kashyap got inspired to work on wood from his love of nature and from his hobby of photography, where he shot beautiful landscape photos. He sees nature as a creative playground and saw wood working as another outlet for his creativity.

“I am completely self taught by reading and watching tutorials and honing my skills by practice and reading. I can say that I have watched a lot of videos of skilled woodworkers to teach myself woodworking. I am inspired everyday by expert woodworkers like Blacktail studio, Kobeomsuk Furniture to name a few, learning their techniques and applying it to my design thinking. I created Ark Wood Works as a creative outlet for myself and to provide  unique and one of kind piece of art to my customers.”

We specialize in wood slab furniture with contemporary to industrial style designs which includes our one-of-a kind slab tables, as well as furniture made from reclaimed wood and exotic hardwoods.
